This place was great. We got an ocean view room with beautiful sunrises. We were near the action but no noise. We were able to go on many day trips from here—Kuranda and the waterfall, Harley’s Crocodile Park, the Great Barrier Reef boat, Palm Cove, and walkable to many oceanside restaurants. However, our favorite restaurant was the rooftop restaurant at the hotel. The view was wonderful. Everybody got off the elevator and took a picture. At 5 pm, thousands of bats flew by for a daily show. That was very cool. We liked this hotel and Cairns so much that we stayed an extra eight days.

A central location in Cairns. You can walk every where in the town. Lots of shops, art galleries and eateries nearby. There was a luscious ice cream shop just 2 doors away where I got Icecream. Nearby there was the swimming lagoon. People were truly relaxed here either sunbathing or swimming . A truly tropical city. The ideal time to holiday here is around June, July and August. It is their winter which is like a summer day in England. The rooftop restaurant had a spectacular view of the Esplanade. I had a cheery waitress named Luna who would serve breakfast daily.

Great location for lagoon and marina point, beds was super comfy. Ideal location for all the bars and resturants, and tour pick ups. There is a McDonald's outside the hotel but there was no noise or impacted the stay so do not be put off by that. Staff were friendly and helpful and lift was security coded to stop outside access to rooms if not staying. We had a Seaview which was great. Worth a stay if in Cairns.

The room was comfortable but carpets are never a good thing nowadays. The beds are comfortable and there is ample cupboard space should you wish to unpack. The bathrooms are a great size and the toiletries provided are of excellent quality. The rooftop restaurant has a wonderful view and the staff are kind and friendly. Although the food is average, it was an easy experience. The location is excellent!

Great siutation and location. Very close to harbour and all amenities. Importantly, also very close to the big public swimming pool (wich also means no need to have one in the hotel). Great view from the terrasse, where also breakfast was served. Good breakfast (a la carte, no buffet). At the same time not noisy, comfortable beds. Very clean!
